Dr. Jerry Benson, Jr. is a 1989 graduate of the Savannah Country Day School. He attended the US Air Force Academy, and upon graduation, served as an officer in the US Air Force. In 2006, Dr. Benson, Jr. received a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and began his career in general dentistry in Charlotte, North Carolina. After relocating to Savannah, Dr. Benson, Jr. worked at the Chatham County Health Department until joining his father at Benson Dental Associates, a family dentistry practice. Dr. Benson, Jr. is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Sleep Dental Medicine, and the Georgia Dental Association. He holds professional licensure in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.
