Dr. Carla Case-McCorvey of Case Veterinary Hospital

bio

Carla Case-McCorvey, veterinarian and owner of Case Veterinary Hospital, grew up in the business which was first begun in Savannah, Georgia by her great-grandfather in 1909. After graduating from the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999, Carla followed both her grandfather and father and now enjoys being the 4th generation (yet first woman) to run the family practice which is now celebrating its 100th Anniversary. Dr. Case-McCorvey has also brought rigid laparoscopy to Case Veterinary Hospital being the first in her region to routinely offer this minimally invasive surgical option to her patients to include routine laparoscopic spays. Her dedication comes from the understanding that Case Veterinary Hospital is not just a hospital – it is her family history.

Also contributing to the blog is Dr. Case McCorvey's Hospital Administrator, Lisa Yackel. Lisa has worked for the Case family for twenty years and is a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager and Professional in Human Resources. She is a mother, grandmother , dog mother, and wife.
