While all the world seemingly congregated at the St Patrick's Day parade on Saturday, my family headed to the beach. It was a beautiful day for it, although the water was still too cold for my liking. The kids, however, didn't mind riding the small incoming waves on their boogie boards or just splashing in the surf. My 2-year-old especially enjoyed playing in the little tidal pool where I guess he felt safe and protected from the waves.
