Crafting With Kids

I love to have a well stocked art closet for my kids! My advice would be to start small.
Originally, I repurposed an over-the-door shoe organizer into a craft materials holder. I place
items that all three of my kids can use (8, 7 and 3) in the lower pockets. Materials that are
geared more for the older kids are placed in higher pockets (scissors, glitter glue, etc) Stocking
up on supplies during the Back to School sales (usually after the 4th of July) is the way to go! I

Preschool Open House

Staring down Good-bye

I hate Good-byes and Lasts. The next few weeks hold a variety of Good-byes for my family and me. Good-bye to school-time routines, to good friends moving away, to the preschool my kids have attended for the past 4 years.

My 5-year-old's Last day of pre-K is fast approaching as summer break beckons. I could easily make myself crazy thinking of all the Lasts. The Last Wednesday of school, Last morning I have to myself for a while, Last time seeing some dear playmates. Of course, the Last check written for a preschool payment was indeed a happy Last.
