What the kids want to be for Halloween

by Traci S on Thu, 10/04/2012 - 10:28pm

Have you gotten your kids' costumes for Halloween yet? I keep asking my kids what they want to be. Sometimes I think that's a mistake. Maybe it would be better to simply offer a couple of choices and have them pick one. But I'm pretty sure that wouldn't work either.

So my daughter wants to be a lemur, of course, because we just went to the South Carolina Aquarium and saw lemurs and they were oh-so-cute. And my 6-year-old son wants to be a white mouse in honor of his cousin's mouse that died that he never met, naturally.

by Traci S on Thu, 10/28/2010 - 2:16pm

Well, the Halloween festivities are upon us. We took the kiddos to Patchville at Savannah Christian Church Wednesday evening. It's the church's annual family-friendly Halloween alternative party. Our gang had a great time, of course, along with about a zillion other kids. They came home with more candy than I'll let them eat in the next week, and it's not even Halloween yet!
