The kids chose from a variety of activities such as softball, volleyball, art, chess, hiking, and geology. In the evening there was a Haunted Trail and carnival games. It was truly a good time for the whole family.

A paper came home in my kids' school bags the other day about Camp Invention. If you haven't heard of it, it's an educational summer camp program that is hosted at a few area schools each summer. My kids have not attended the camp, although I suspect they would enjoy it if they gave it a try.

It’s summertime, and for camp counselors in Garden City, the living’s busy.

The city’s day camp has entertained an average of nearly 70 youngsters per week throughout this summer, the largest draw in recent years, at the Garden City Recreation Center near Groves High.

This past Sunday my family attended Kids Day at the Civic Center! Blue Skies!

Aren't you always impressed at the number of attendees at this Annual Event? There are always alot of fun activities for the kids to do and useful info for parents. Most importantly organizations that cater to our children pass out fliers announcing their upcoming events! This helps me lists the events that will entertain my hobbies while encouraging me to spend time with my family.

Here are some family day out ideas that my family will be participating in
