The Savannah Children's Theatre held the culminating shows for their summer camp this weekend.

I stopped by to see "Metaphasia" on Friday and had the chance to talk with Jennifer Doubleday, the SCT's Associate Director, who emphasized how important the support of moms is to the community theater project.

And the kids agree! Watch this video to see the campers share their enthusiasm for their stage and camp experience.

"You may have tangible wealth untold;
Caskets of jewels and coffers of gold.
Richer than I you can never be--
I had a Mother who read to me"
--Strickland Gillilan.

The libraries of Savannah are a great place to bring small children. Not only will the a/c keep you cool in this scorching heat wave, but your little ones will have the wonderful opportunity to walk the aisles of brightly covered books, learning about the world of imagination, knowledge and fun in the shelves.
