For moms in Savannah and the Coastal Empire

Attention Mothers of Rising Juniors! The new SAT/ACT Diagnostic is offered in Savannah!

Did you know that students typically score better on either the SAT or the ACT depending on their personal learning and testing style?  Since the SAT uses more of a theorectical/abstract approach and the ACT uses more application of retained knowledge, it makes sense that different students will test and therefore score  better on one than the other.

One approach that has been used tradionally by College Counselors is to have students sit for one of each and see how they do.  Then the student may receive tutoring directed at the test of choice and re-take it if better scores are needed to get into the college of choice.

But there now is a new test on the market that is designed to identify whether a student is stronger on the SAT or the ACT, without going through all that. Its called the SAT/ACT Diagnostic.  It is a three hour test that gives exposure to, and first hand experience with, both tests... It saves students and their families the cost of registration and the time sitting for both tests!

Savannah Educational Consultants is now offering the SAT/ACT Diagnostic! The cost is $125, which includes registration, testing materials and small group administration, analysis and a comprehensive result report. Two test dates have been set-- Tuesday, July 31st and Saturday, August 11th, starting at 9:30 a.m. both days.  More dates may be set if needed.

If you are interested in this new service, please contact Savannah Educational Consultants at 912-238-9552.

SAT/ACT Test

You know, I always wondered why there were two different tests and what the actual differences were. Thanks for the information.
