Richmond Hill 5th graders hold fundraiser to benefit pets
Three Carver Elementary School students want to help the community control its pet population and you can help too.
Fifth-graders Hannah-Marie Eddins, Kolina Eljam and Samantha Filer will hold a fundraiser Sunday, May 16 for the Bryan Animal Caregivers.
The girls will hold a bake sale from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at the Station Xchange located at 10220 Ford Avenue in Richmond Hill.
All monies raised will go to help BAC spay and neuter animals within our community, or to provide vouchers to help community members afford the procedure for their own pets.
The mission of the Bryan Animal Caregivers is to assist people with financial need in spaying or neutering their pets and/or stray or feral animals through a reduced cost spay/neuter program. Learn more about them here.
