Greening of the Fountain
Friday, March 12 at noon in Forsyth Park

Tara Feis Irish Celebration
11 a.m.-5 p.m. March 13, Emmet Park, East Bay Street.
There will be live performances, food, art activities, crafts and games hosted with Irish ceremony, tradition and hospitality. The Cathie Ryan Band and Harry O’Donoghue will highlight this year festival. Sponsored by the City of Savannah’s Department of Cultural Affairs.
Tybee Island Irish Heritage Celebration Parade
3 p.m. March 13, Memorial Park, Butler Avenue
There will be lots of Irish families marching, along with bands, bagpipers, floats, and the Alee Temple Shriners.
Sheep Shearing Day
11 a.m.-4 p.m., March 13, Oatland Island Wildlife Center, 711 Sandtown Rd.
The festival will feature the shearing of Oatland’s sheep by members of The Fiber Guild of the Savannah’s. Activities include children’s crafts and games, and 1800’s lifestyle demonstrations held throughout the day. Children under 4 are free.
