14th Annual Hometown Christmas Parade
When: 10 a.m. Saturday
Where: Downtown Richmond Hill
Gather together with the entire family and watch the Christmas parade make its way through the streets of downtown Richmond Hill. This year’s parade theme will be "A Small Town Christmas." 5th Annual Christmas Xtravaganza
When: Noon Saturday
Where: Station Xchange, Richmond Hill
Immediately following Richmond Hill Christmas Parade, the Station Xchange has planned an Xtravaganza that will include a winter wonderland with real snow, Christmas music, local performing artists, a petting zoo, photos with Santa, ornament making stations, a cookie decorating station, complimentary candy canes, and hot cocoa. The event is FREE and open to the public. Refreshment stands will be onsite at the event and the funds raised will be donated to Richmond Hill Dance Theater, a group of local performing art charity. Christmas Tree Lighting at Hunter Army Airfield
When: 5:15 - 8:30 p.m. Monday
Where: Hunter Club, building 6015, Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah
Christmas carols and tree lighting followed by the arrival of Santa Claus and live reindeer! There will also be horse drawn carriage rides, children's games and activities, cookie treats and more. Parents, don’t forget to bring your valid driver's licenses to get on base.
