Savannah Celtic Football Club is holding a 'gear swap' event in late August.  Our hope is to encourage participation in recreational soccer for children and families that may have thought it wasn't an option due to expense.  Below is a flyer that hopefully explains everything.  But a quick summary is this:

• The Event is August 25th from 9am - 12pm at SuperGoose Sports - 3700 Wallin Street.
• Families can donate items anytime throughout the year.
• On the day of 'Operation Swap Gear' families can come TRADE their gently used items for a change in size, etc. for the FALL soccer season.
• On the day of 'Operation Swap Gear' families can come pay a small fee (that is put towards our scholarship fund) to get gently used items for the FALL soccer season.

You can donate items at the SCFC office between: 9:00am and 3:00pm at SuperGoose Sports (3700 Wallin Street, Savannah, GA 31404).

Please do not drop items off outside the building, we can not ensure they will be received. We are inside, up the stairs, first door on the left. If you need assistance carrying items, just come in and get us to help, WE DON'T MIND!!

This is a great way to give back and help those that may not think it's possible for their child to play soccer. Sports are a wonderful way for children to grow up learning about team spirit, leadership, discipline and all around FUN!!
