Remembering Summer Memories
Along with summer comes summer trips to places you don't usually go. You may also see people that you may have not seen in awhile. Taking pictures is a great way to remember these activities along with other things you happen to run into along the way. Instead of keeping those pictures hidden on your camera, why not create little memory books for your kids to share with their friends.
I thought of this idea while on our trip to Florida and saw two kids playing taking pictures in the pool of each other. So after I got back from my trip I printed out two sets of pictures, one for each child, and put them in an inexpensive photo album. Then, I asked each child to give a description of about the picture, older kids can do this on their own, and placed it behind each picture.
You can use pictures of vacations, summer activities, people, and nature. I also encourage you to let your kids either take the pictures or pick out things that they want you to take the pictures of. Not only are the photos organinzed, they are labeled for future reference, and will give kids an opportunity to tell others about their adventures.
