Sand Gnats game to benefit Goodwill
7:05 p.m. June 13, Grayson Stadium. When you buy tickets for the June 13 Savannah Sand Gnats game from local Goodwill retail locations, Goodwill gets funds to help local programs that serve our area. The first 200 children ages 12 and under only at Grayson Stadium will get a free Webkinz. The park opens at 6 p.m. and game time is 7:05 p.m. The Sand Gnats will play the Charleston, S.C. RiverDogs. In addition, the Sand Gnats will donate 50 cents for every person who enters Grayson Stadium June 13 with a ticket purchased through Goodwill. If Goodwill sells 1,000 tickets and those 1,000 people come to the game, the Sand Gnats will donate an additional $500. Goodwill retail locations in Savannah, Pooler and Richmond Hill will be selling discounted tickets to the June 13 Savannah Sand Gnats game for $5 to generate funding for local programs that serve our area. Worldâ€™s Largest Swimming Lesson
June 14, Chatham County Aquatic Center, 7240 Sallie Mood Drive. Thousands of children around the globe are participating in The Worldâ€™s Largest Swimming Lessonâ„˘ to help beat the second leading cause of unintended, injury related death of children ages 1-14. We are taking registration for this free event now. Children ages 3 and older including adults can participate in the Worldâ€™s Largest Swimming Lessonâ„˘ Guinness World Record attempt. AWOL's end of school year party for teens

JCB Mud Run

Savannah Derby Devils Game
1st bout at 5 p.m. June 16, Savannah Civic Center. Come out and watch our Savannah girls take on Myrtle Beach. 5:00 pm Hostess City Hellions vs. Palmetto State B-Team; 7:00 pm All Stars vs. Palmetto State A-team. The Savannah Derby Devils take on the Palmetto State Rollergirls, of Myrtle Beach, SC in the SDD's second 2012 bout at the Savannah Civic Center. This family-friendly event offers two back-to-back bouts, live music by the Mensa Bullies, activities for kids, raffles and roller derby merchandise. Beer and wine will be available for the adults.
