Toy disappointment in a kids' meal
Sometimes it's the little things that complicate my life. Like the little plastic lantern toy my 6-year-old got from Sonic today in his meal. It's a cute toy, neat idea. And my son was excited about it. But it doesn't work. And there's apparently no way to change the battery if that's what the problem is.
And so I have a little dilemma. Do I forget about it, knowing my son will eventually get over his disappointment? Or do I take it back to Sonic and request another one?
It seems a bit silly to take the toy back. However, this was the last in a string of problems we had with our meal there today, which makes me more inclined to make it right. I guess it wouldn't hurt to stop at Sonic and request a new toy the next time we're passing by...

Toy returned
FYI I took the toy back and the woman gave me a new one that works... no big deal. Of course, by now my son's not even playing with it anymore. It did make him happy at the time, though, which I guess is worth something.
