Springtime in the South Arts & Craft Festival
10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Feb. 10, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Feb. 11 and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Feb. 12 at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center on Hutchinson Island. Georgia Day Parade
10:30 a.m. Feb. 10 at the north end of Forsyth Park. Featuring hundreds of costumed school children marching up Bull Street to Savannah City Hall, the annual Georgia Day Parade commemorates the colony’s founding in 1733. Presented by the Georgia Historical Society, the event also features musicians, local dignitaries and costumed historical characters. Free and open to the public. Youth Symphony Free Performance
4 p.m. Feb. 11. St. John Baptist "The Mighty Fortress," 522 Hartridge St. Conductor David Robinson and The Still Waters Youth Sinfo-Nia of Metropolitan Atlanta, with about 100 youth musicians, including several local students, perform a free concert and music workshop.
