Here comes Valentine's Day. Personally, I've never been too crazy about this holiday. Nonetheless, it seems to me, as my three children get further along in school, that all the holidays are being taken over by kids.

I have to send in 18 Valentines for my 2nd grader, 19 for my kindergartener, 8 for my little guy (plus treats), and 16 for Girl Scouts. I did keep it simple by buying the same dog-themed Valentines for them all to use, but still, having three kids sure increases a mom's workload! I guess my frazzled state is compounded by the fact that I'm also planning birthday festivities for my two older children right now. It all makes for a busy February.

Anyway, with all this going on, who has time to think about picking out the right Valentine's card for my sweet hubby? The kids are ruling the day right now. I just hope, when all is said and done, to share a box of yummy chocolates with him as the dust settles around us.
