The Strength of You!

Dear Lovely Mommie,

There is nothing more powerful in your life than you own ability to change your path of history.  By being present in your personal daily life each and every moment, you provide yourself with the wherewithal to create alterations, monitor and adjust your happenings, truly make a difference on the inside and thoroughly take advantage of what you have to offer yourself.

As we’ve discussed prior there are many self-supportive elements that promote the well-being and development of successful ways to work toward your goals each moment as you make your way through your day.  How many of them are you participating in?  Are you putting forth your best effort to see your goals unfold or are you living a pathway filled with old patterns expecting a different outcome?  Read through the following stellar skills that are tried and true and make things happen in the weight loss department.  Honestly answer “yes” or “no” to each statement as you assess your everyday habits.  Reflecting on yourself is enlightening and provides you with your future steps to ensure continued results.

~I am doing the best I can to focus on the things I am doing well at.

~I am doing the best I can to include movement in my everyday life and routine.

~I am doing the best I can to display healthy food choices in my home.

~I am doing the best I can to downsize more portion sizes.

~I am doing the best I can to forgive myself when things don’t go my way.

~I am doing the best I can to take one moment at a time.

~I am doing the best I can to reward myself for positive movements in my life.

~I am doing the best I can to create a history by journaling my actions.

~I am doing the best I can to organize myself and my surroundings.

You cannot fail if you try.  Trying may consist of many different faces and modes throughout your time and none of those attempts come to fruition without you giving it your persistence and determination on a day-to-day basis.  Being realistic and taking one step at a time will enable you to view your triumphs, accomplishments and all your achievements in a light that promotes success.  Rushing through your goals does no good and even promotes feelings of disappointment in the long run.  The long haul is not what we are focusing on, today, right now is our claim to fame and making the choices that support our goals at this very moment in time is what we must focus on.  Let’s face it, a strong foundation begins at the ground floor and unless it is fearlessly built from the bottom up it will never stand the test of time.
