The Power of Persistence

Dear Self;

No matter what actions I took on behalf of my goals a moment ago, yesterday or weeks and weeks ago, I will persevere today and make this moment count.  I realize I can’t turn back the hands of time and change anything about my past; however, what I do realize is that I am the current conductor of the very moments that are ahead of me and I will make a difference.

Staying on a positive note when days maybe haven’t gone has you had planned is a ticket to success.  Don’t get me wrong there are many a tickets toward your goals and holding on to as many as you can at once helps you to close out your day or week on an optimistic note.  It is your job to juggle numerous elements of weight loss and healthy eating in one day, the day you are currently living.  Sometimes it is difficult to be upbeat and it is challenging to maintain your own encouraging attitude.  Here’s a few suggestions that can help you stay in the moment, encourage affirmative thoughts and promote a cheerful approach day-after-day on your journey toward greater health and weight loss:

~Believe in your ability to be triumphant at this very moment and instill the unbeatable feeling of a winning attitude.  How you view your unbeatable ability is essential to you having a day that promotes well-being and allows you to flourish regarding your goals.    

~Do not reflect upon past negative experiences during your journey or episodes where you exhibited poor choices.  Trust in your inner strength to see you through to a more optimistic day and fill yourself with the knowhow to be victorious throughout your entire day.    

~Review your goals each morning when you wake up.  The more you remind yourself of what you are working toward the more you will be able to focus on what’s important, the better choices you will inevitably make and the further progress you will make throughout your day.  If morning time is not your cup of tea in regard to reviewing your aspirations then find another point in your day when you can review your expectations.    

~Prepared yourself for a dominant day by eating a healthy, well-rounded breakfast.  Make sure to get your own lunch ready and do not rely on the staff room or vending machines for healthy options because they will not support your efforts.  Remember to fuel your day with powerful snack options and leave not one opportunity to succeed uncovered.

How you approach your day begins with your helpful attitude and how you address your morning can make all the difference in the world as to how your time plays out.  Do yourself a massive favor and talk your way through to an encouraging outcome today.
