Free Infant Massage Training for Parents and their Infants
This Week: Free Infant Massage Training for Parents and their Infants (1 day to 10 months)
Massaging your baby is a beautiful and loving way to begin a lifelong relationship. Infant massage is a preventative program that provides loving touch right from the start. Understanding and beginning touch early in life can improve the quality of parenting and family life and promote the well-being of your infant.
Your infant will be emotionally nourished through infant massage. A loving, intimate communication will grow between parent and baby. The infant’s primary systems such as respiratory, circulatory, nervous, gastrointestinal, and immune system will strengthen and be better regulated. Infant massage will reduce gas and colic which in turn will allow the infant to sleep better. Baby will be able to relax and release the tensions of daily stimuli.
Course has 2 sessions and will all be taught at Memorial Health Medical Center in Savannah, GA this week. Massage techniques are based on the standards set forth by the International Loving Touch Foundation (lovingtouch.com).
